This is a superb Victorian Rosewood Envelope Card Table with stringing, foliate marquetry and ebonised banding.

Both the top of the table and the frieze drawer have beautiful satinwood floral marquetry inlay and the legs and the top are also decorated with a lovely satinwood stringing and ebonised banding.

The top of the table opens in an envelope to reveal a green baize interior which is original and has not been replaced..

It has a frieze drawer which has two lovely small turned brass handles.

The table stands on four square tapering legs which are joined by raised stretchers which support a galleried undershelf and it has its four original small casters.
